Applications are now open for the second edition of the RItrainPlus management training programme, tailored for professionals in Research Infrastructures (RIs) and Core Facilities (CFs). This continuous professional development (CPD) programme is designed to enhance managerial skills in scientific institutions. Apply by 12:00 CEST on 9th September 2024.

Following feedback from the 2023 pilot, the programme has been refined with an improved schedule, curriculum, and teaching methods. Courses now include multiple half-day sessions with intervals for better learning outcomes.

All courses will be conducted both online and in-person from October to November 2024. The in-person portion will consist of an interactive two-day workshop held in late November 2024.

Participants can complete the entire programme or select specific courses that suit their needs. The programme offers seven CPD courses, including:

• Managing the lifecycle of an RI

• Ethical, Legal and Social Implications in RIs and CFs

• Data management

• Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Engagement with Industry

• Socio-economic impact of RIs

• Team building and development

• Coaching development programme

The pilot short courses are offered free of charge and require participants to fully commit to attending lectures, participating in group work, and completing written assignments.
