New Version of the CESSDA Data Catalogue Released!
Thu 21 Nov 2024

On 12 November, CESSDA launched an updated version of its Data Catalogue, introducing key enhancements to improve usability and present a richer set of metadata elements.

The new version includes aggregated information about data access, allowing users to quickly see if studies are openly available or subject to conditions, with detailed descriptions accessible on study pages. Studies part of larger collections or repeated over time are now clearly identified, providing greater research context.

Users can also view whether datasets are qualitative or quantitative, helping assess their relevance for analysis. Additionally, funding information is now included to credit organisations behind the research, alongside ORCIDs for study creators. Plans are underway to expand identifiers to include organisations in the future. These updates reflect CESSDA’s dedication to improving research support through transparent and accessible data.
