
CESSDA's Recent Key Achievements
A new short brief highlights CESSDA’s achievements in supporting open science, advancing research transparency, and enabling impactful data reuse across Europe.
The “Top 5 Key Performance Indicators”, showcase the progress made by CESSDA’s 22 national social science data archives (Service Providers) in the period of 2020 to 2022.
The key achievements:

Enabled access to 38K primary digital objects (including data) through at least 650K publications

Supported over 100 multidisciplinary projects for the digital future of Europe and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Empowered education in over 300 lectures and built the research capacity of 12K attendees

Engaged over 9 million visits through websites and tools to enhance research transparency

Maximised return on investment in social science research by enabling data reuse
CESSDA’s performance indicators showcase the added value of Open Science in research and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
